It's MURDER!

What happens on the night of the murder mystery dinner?

Various shady characters make their entrances (often posing as guests), and act out various scenarios throughout the evening.

The action is interwoven throughout the audience, who "overhear" characters having "private" conversations. At least one untimely death is guaranteed to occur right before their eyes, and guests are encouraged to question the characters as much as they wish to help solve the crime.

A "people's court" is held at the culmination of the evening to help solve the dastardly misdeed-- usually with hilarious results. It's up to the patrons to play detective and solve any murders that might occur, submitting the correct solution on the ballot provided.

The solution is revealed at the end of the evening with prizes being awarded to the runner-up and the best sleuth.

MY BIG FAT GEEK WEDDING
by Michael McAdam
It's the wedding reception for blissful newlyweds, Aloe Vera and Trent Razor. But all is not as blissful as it seems! Trent has a few problems dealing with Aloe's family and friends. And it's no surprise-- from her comic-book reading, anecdote-spewing uncle C.B. Guy, to Farley, the Star Wars nerd boy next door -- not to mention his rival and Kirk-worshipping Trekkie, Billy Shattered -- and last but not least, Muffy Winters, Aloe's TV-crazed vampire-slaying college roommate. Put them all together, mix in Farley and Billy's unrequited love for Aloe, C.B.'s overprotective nature and Muffy being convinced that Trent is one of the undead -- and did we mention a MURDER? -- and you've got one BIG FAT GEEK WEDDING.

Yes, larceny, lust, and greed abound-- the pressure is quickly building, and when it explodes, there will be murder@gigaflop.com!

LITTLE HOMICIDE ON THE PRAIRIE
by Jane O'Brien
Nestled in a bend of Prune Creek is the quaint town of Chicken Scratch, Alberta. It's a typical prairie town - a few business people, a wealthy banker who holds the mortgages on all the buildings and farms in the area, and the rest of the folk who work their fingers to the bone trying to eke out an existence. There's little diversion from the grind of everyday life in Chicken Scratch, so when there's a church social - like they're having tonight - everyone attends. It's too bad the evening will end in calamity with a Little Homicide on the Prairie!
